Support & Assistance

Age Care Association offers help, support, information and advice. Their ultimate objective is to give support in a wide variety of ways to the older English speaking community from Benalmadena to Calahonda and beyond. The association is a fully registered, non- profit making organisation staffed entirely by volunteers. The majority of work is helping older British people living in the Province of Malaga, but they do not exclude other nationalities.

Age Concern España, a fully registered not for profit Spanish organisation, has been providing support and promoting the well being of the over 50s in Spain since 1994. Through our volunteers we provide a range of services to help with integration into Spanish life and to provide information, advice and support for common issues that affect the over 50s.

The Royal British Legion provides lifelong support for the Armed Forces community – serving men and women, veterans, and their families. The Legion is committed to helping everyone understand the importance of Remembrance so that sacrifices of our Armed Forces past and present are never forgotten. Explore how they can help you and get in touch for advice, information and guidance.
They have branches in Alhaurin el Grande, Benajarafe, Benalmadena, CoinLojaLos RomanesMarbellaMijas Costa, MollinaNerjaTorre del MarTorremolinos.

Currently based at El Jardin Bar, Avda Bonanza, Arroyo de la Miel, Benalmádena Costa, Malaga, the original Benalmádena Branch was founded in June 2002 as a spin off from the Costa del Sol Branch. In June 2004 the 2 Branches merged into Benalmádena and became the senior Branch in Spain and the only one on the Costa del Sol. Recent changes in Gibraltar have necessitated expanding our area of responsibility. Accordingly, we have reverted to the Branch name “Costa del Sol” as this reflects our position in Spain.
